The consumer advocacy organization, U.S. Right to Know, has filed a lawsuit against the Environmental Protection Agency for violating provisions of the Freedom of Information Act. The lawsuit seeks documentation of EPA interactions with the Food and Drug Administration regarding testing for glyphosate residue in food. Concerns surrounding the herbicide started in 2015, when the World Health Organization classified glyphosate as a probable carcinogen.
