Southern Minnesota Beet Sugar Cooperative growers continue to make good planting progress. Vice President of Agriculture, Todd Geselius, says about half of the co-op’s beets are planted. “We’re coming along very nicely. We made huge strides. We’ve come up about 30 to 35 percent since Monday. Good progress.” Geselius says the beets are just starting to emerge in the first planted fields.
