Kloe Wadd has deep roots in production agriculture, beginning with her family’s farm at Waseca, in southern Minnesota. Kloe is a recent graduate of the University of Minnesota Crookston, Wadd earned degrees in Agricultural Business and Agricultural Communications. She was recognized as UMC’s Outstanding Communications Student, being the first Agricultural Communications degree recipient to earn this honor.
In FFA, Kloe earned her American Degree. As a 4-H member, she received the Key Award. Kloe was an officer with the UMC Collegiate Farm Bureau and selected to participate in the Minnesota Farm Bureau HERD Program. Her resume also includes serving as president of the Animal Science Association and treasurer with UMC’s AGARAMA. Her experience includes work with the North Dakota Corn Utilization Council, where she managed social media strategy, developed ag education programming and helped coordinate events, including Big Iron Farm Sow and Northern Corn and Soybean Expo. She also worked as an agronomy sales intern with Crystal Valley Coop, gaining firsthand experience in crop production, research and farmer relations.
At RRFN, Kloe’s passion for rural communities and firsthand understanding of agriculture positions her to tell the stories that matter most to farmers, ranchers and the ag industry throughout the region.
