Jay Rehder\’s entire life has been involved in agriculture. Those roots began with growing up on a diversified grain, sugarbeet and livestock farm in the southern Red River Valley.
Rehder\’s agriculture career started after graduating from North Dakota State University by accepting a position as a soybean buyer with a grain merchandising firm in Stillwater, Minnesota. In 2001, Jay and his wife Jennifer returned to the Red River Valley, where he was the Procurement Manager for SunOpta in Moorhead. Rehder oversaw the contracting and buying of soybeans with farmers in the Midwest and Canada.
In 2011, Jay joined the Red River Farm Network team and further developed his skills in agricultural marketing and sales. He is a current member of the National Association of Farm Broadcasting, Big Iron Farm Show Committee, Clay County Fair Board and Barnesville School Board. Jay and Jennifer have three children, Hannah, Nate and Claire.
