Kansas City wheat is one of the hottest commodity markets after a strong rally last week. Martinson Ag Risk Management’s Randy Martinson says escalating tensions between Russia and Ukraine helped push Kansas City wheat within 10 to 15 cents of its previous contract high. On the other side, livestock markets remain under pressure. Martinson says lean hogs continue to struggle, while cattle have been hit especially hard over the past month.
