As expected, the U.S. Department of Agriculture announced Friday the January crop production and World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates reports will not be released January 11. This crop report is the final crop estimate of the season and provides global and domestic supply and demand estimates, the annual crop production numbers and an update on wheat and canola seedings. A partial government shutdown is causing the delay. USDA says the release date of the reports will be determined and announced once government funding is restored.
