The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign has reached the $5 million threshold to establish the James F. Evans Global Center for Food and Agriculture Communications. Evans is a pioneer in agricultural communications and is a member of the National Association of Farm Broadcasting Hall of Fame. The milestone was achieved on Wednesday on Evans’ 93rd birthday.
