The Syngenta Group finished the first half of its fiscal year with sales of $14.5 billion, up two percent from a year ago. Sales for the crop protection business rose three percent. Biologicals continued to see steady growth during the past six months. Syngenta seed sales are up two percent year-over-year. However, North American sales slipped one percent.
