In the Pioneer Agronomy Update, Pioneer Field Agronomist Kristie Sundeen says the cool, wet weather has slowed the planting schedule. “Some growers had corn planted in late April, but most of the corn planting happens between May 2 and May 15,” said Sundeen. “The fields planted in April have already emerged with those in early May just starting to emerge, depending on the area.” Click here to listen to the report.
