The total amount of red meat in the nation’s freezers at the end of October is down one percent from September and one year ago. Total pounds of beef in freezers is up two percent from the previous month and two percent more than last year. Frozen pork supplies are down three percent from the previous month and down five percent from last year. Stocks of pork bellies were down 12 percent from last month and down 17 percent from one year ago.
