The Idaho wheat harvest is just getting started in the lower elevations. Conditions were not ideal throughout the growing season, but things are looking up. “We were short on rain the whole spring,” said Cliff Tacke, commissioner, Idaho Wheat Commission. “I think the crop will survive well because of the cold weather that we have had.”
