On Thursday, a long line of blue and gold jackets, advisors and supporters waited in line to get tickets for the event. The local FFA members who have talked to the Red River Farm Network say they feel honored to have a president address the FFA. “It’s cool he’s taking time out of his schedule, because President Trump is busy. It’s a great opportunity to listen to him speak,” says North Dakota FFA Sentinel Lucas Rath. Some people are really excited about the chance for the visit, others are slightly concerned about what he could say. When asked what they would ask the president if they had a chance, North Dakota State Vice-President Morgan Krizan would ask Trump about his stance on agriculture. “I’m eager to hear more of an understanding what he thinks.” South Dakota FFA President Colten Riley would ask about leadership traits. President Trump will address FFA members on Saturday.
