A bill has been introduced in the U.S. Senate to strengthen agriculture’s role on the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States. This is the government entity that oversees the foreign investment and acquisition of American companies. This issue has gained attention with the proposed Fufeng corn wet milling project in Grand Forks. North Dakota Senators John Hoeven and Kevin Cramer are cosponsoring this bill.
