The 2022 season began with logistical challenges and weather delays. “One thing that we are upfront about is we had some soybean germination issues in the industry, not just Peterson Farms Seed, but around our region which was caused by the planting and growing season of 2021,” said Scott Sanders, general manager. “If you couple that with getting into the planting season about a month late across our region, we had a fantastic growing season.” After excellent yields this fall, Sanders said growers are coming into the fall pretty excited about the ’23 season.
