Pioneer Associate Territory Manager Nellie Spence was part of the fourth day of the Red River Farm Network’s Crop Tour. Spence said the corn maturity varies across Cass County. “The spring was a nailbiter, but we got saved by the heat this summer,” said Spence. “We’re seeing corn being maybe ten days from finishing to a month out and that’s all in the same county.” Spence said late season rains are helping the soybean pods to fill out nicely. The video interview can be found online.
