North Dakota State University’s Dean of the College of Agriculture, Food Systems and Natural Resources Ken Grafton accepted the role of Interim Provost, or senior administrative officer. NDSU President Dean Bresciani says Grafton started the new role Thursday and will stay in that position until a search for a permanent provost is completed next year. Bresciani told RRFN last week Grafton is fortunate with a wide bench of senior administrators in agriculture to help spread responsibilities. “I would anticipate his role would stay vacant and we would spread his responsibilities across the extraordinary staff he has working for him.”
