Philanthropist MacKenzie Scott has pledged to donate $50 million to the National 4-H Council. That’s the single largest donation in the 4-H program’s history. Scott is the ex-wife of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos. When they divorced in 2019, Scott received 25 percent of his Amazon stake. At that time, Scott signed the Giving Pledge, promising to give away at least half of her wealth during her lifetime.
