The Brazilian consulting firm, AgRural, is forecasting a 133.4 million ton soybean crop. That’s down from a previous forecast of 145 million tons and last year’s record crop of 137 million tons. La Nina and a dry weather pattern are blamed for the downturn. Brazil’s average soybean yield is expected to drop to its lowest level since 2015.
