In a statement, an EPA spokesperson said scientific integrity is a priority for the Biden-Harris Administration. The political interference that happened with the 2018 dicamba decision happened despite the best efforts of the EPA’s career scientists and managers that recommended a different approach. The EPA responded to the OIG’s report and is implementing several actions to ensure the pesticide registration decisions are free from political interference. EPA is standing by its 2020 decision on dicamba.
