Compared to one year ago, U.S. farm tractor sales rose more than 80 percent in March. The Association of Equipment Manufacturers says combine sales increased nearly seven percent. The small tractors, 40 horsepower and lower, was the segment with the most significant increase in sales. Four-wheel drive units edged up by 2.5 percent, reversing a small drop from February.
