For the AgCountry Farm Credit Services virtual Marketing Day, Vice President of Insurance and Commodity Marketing Education Rob Fronning says there’s a great line-up. The event will take a closer look at the weather, grain markets and trade. “Nutrien Ag Solutions Principal Atmospheric Scientist Eric Snodgrass will have a weather outlook, NDSU Extension Crops Marketing Economist Frayne Olson and Center for Financial Management Grain Marketing Specialist Ed Usset will look at the local markets and influencers and then, we’ll hear from Matt Roberts from Ohio diving more into the grain markets. We’ll also have geopolitical strategist Peter Zeihan.” The higher grain market prices have been a bright spot as the year begins. “I don’t think anyone was predicting this one year ago, especially with COVID’s impact on the economy. It is amazing what the grain markets have done.” The event will be recorded and links are available for registrants.
