The Trump Administration won’t sell farmers short on trade. That’s the message Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross delivered to eight North Dakota farmers in a White House trade meeting Friday. Campbell Farms co-owner Tom Campbell says the Administration understands farmers and Rural America helped get President Trump elected, but there is concern about the trade deficit and the tit-for-tat trade game. “For something that’s been happening for 30 years, to correct it in one week or one month or one year, I think it needs to be corrected over a period of time instead of all of a sudden fixing it. It may take a few years to fix it.”
