Twenty farmers and ranchers from across the U.S. will participate in the 2018/19 National Farmers Union Beginning Farmers Institute Program. The program is designed to help the next generation of farmers succeed by providing mentorship, technical training and leadership development. This year’s class comes from a wide variety of operations, ranging from two-acre farms to large grain operations. Amanda Martin and Tyler Neubauer were selected from North Dakota, and Rachel Brann and Jill Chi from Minnesota.
