There is a wide range of precision agriculture applications and components available to farmers. Quite frankly, precision agriculture is a journey. “Really, it starts with something like AutoTrack, our precision guidance system that helps automate systems,” says John Mishler, tactical marketing manager, John Deere. “That is quickly followed by yield data, section control, row sense and other applications that help equipment work in the field more accurately.” Recently, John Deere released a new precision agriculture application called AutoPath.
