In a letter to agricultural stakeholders, Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) Commissioner Dave Frederickson said the Department will keep current dicamba restrictions in place for the 2018 growing season. In Minnesota, XtendiMax, Engenia and FeXapan herbicides cannot be applied after June 20. The herbicides should not be applied if the air temperature of the field is over 85 degrees Fahrenheit, or if the forecasted high temperature for the day exceeds 85 degrees. As restricted use products, Federal label regulations related to time of day, wind speed and growth stage also apply.
