The end of the soybean harvest season is in sight for farmers in the Grand Forks area. “The bean size is a little smaller than years past, but guys are pretty happy with getting bean harvest done by mid-October,” said Pioneer Territory Manager Chase Grindberg. Dry conditions during August and an early season frost took the top of the soybean yield. Grindberg expects farmers to move right from soybeans into corn. “The corn moisture has come down very fast.”
