While in Singapore preparing for his summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, President Donald Trump is still focused on the just-completed G-7 meetings in Quebec. In a tweet last night, Trump questioned the large trade surpluses these countries have with the U.S. Trump also said this trade imbalance is not fair to farmers or taxpayers. In particular, Trump pointed to Canada’s dairy policy and its impact on U.S. farmers. Trump left the G-7 meeting early and did not sign the joint communique that came out of the Quebec event.
