The future looks bright for the North Dakota FFA Organization. State Supervisor Aaron Anderson says there has been an increase in agricultural education and the FFA. “This year, we’re at over 5,700 FFA members across the state. Just three years ago, there were only 4,400 members. We’re at 85 FFA chapters in North Dakota, compared to 78 chapters a couple years ago.” In addition, twelve agricultural education positions have been added or filled over the last year in North Dakota. “The demand is definitely higher than the supply, but we’ve been making some strides,” says Anderson. “This coming year, we’ll have 14 student teachers looking for jobs in ag education. The outlook is positive.”
