Farmers in portions of east central Minnesota have started planting. “Conditions were good early. There’s a lot of potato and corn planting that started about two and a half weeks ago,” said Jason Snell, agronomic service representative, Syngenta. “The last week was pretty consistent for field progress across the area with a quite a bit of soybeans getting planted. The corn is about 30 percent planted in the area and the soybeans are about 10 to 15 percent planted in some Minnesota areas.”
