Kennedy, Minnesota farmer Rob Rynning says last week’s rain really helped the crop. “Before the rain, a lot of the wheat got in with a little frost coming out. All the crops got planted before this rain. East side is struggling a little bit with some areas of frost coming out.” Rynning says flea beetles are a concern. “Right now, the plants are pretty sensitive. They’re kind of at the stage where some of the seed treatment might be might be running out.”
