The 2019 corn harvest season continues to creep forward across North Dakota and northwest Minnesota. Pioneer corn product marketing manager Liz Knutson is hoping for a good transition between the standing corn and the 2020 planting season. “This is really an unprecedented situation,” said Knutson. “Walk before you run and make sure you think about all of the decisions and we’ll get there.” The hangover from this past year’s crop has influenced seed sales for this season. “It is stop and go; We have to get that crop out from 2019 before we can plant the 2020 crop, but we’re feeling really good about where we stand.”
