NDSU Extension Marketing Specialist Frayne Olson is not expecting big changes in this week’s USDA Supply and Demand report. “We’ll see minor adjustments and tweaks. I know some farmers want USDA to make adjustments to the export forecast that maybe includes potential China demand, but I really don’t think there will be major adjustments.” Olson says the big report will be planting intentions at the end of March. “I’m concerned we’ll see large corn planting intentions. I don’t think we’ll have quite as many acres as the March report could say.” The USDA Supply and Demand report will be released on Tuesday, March 10 at 11 a.m. central.
