Minnesota Management and Budget released its 2020 February Budget and Economic forecast. In that forecast there is a small increase to the general fund revenue, along with a similar sized reduction in spending estimates. That results in a project surplus of $1.51 billion for the Fiscal Year 2020-21 biennium. That’s $181 million more than the November estimate. An economic slowdown is in the forecast. Read more.
