IEG Vantage, formerly Informa Economics, put out its latest yield estimates for corn and soybeans on Friday. IEG Vantage expects an average corn yield of 168.6 bushels per acre, up 1.1 bushels from their last estimate and slightly more than USDA’s current estimate of 168.4 bushels per acre. Their soybean yield is estimated at 47 bushels per acre, up from their 46.5 bushel per acre estimate last month and slightly more than USDA latest yield estimate of 46.9 bushels per acre. USDA will release new supply and demand and yield numbers in the November WASDE report Friday.
