President Donald Trump is optimistic about the pace of negotiations for a trade deal between the U.S. and China. “We are looking at probably being ahead of schedule on a very big portion of the China deal,” said Trump. “That’ll take care of the farmers and it will also take care of a lot of the banking needs.” Trump will meet with his Chinese counterpart in mid-November for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit. There’s speculation a partial trade deal could be signed at that event.
