The Rivinius Ranch, located in Logan County, North Dakota, received this year’s North Dakota Stockmen’s Association Rancher of the Year award. Ron and Marian Rivinius, along with their sons Ryan and Dan, have a commercial cow-calf herd and feedlot. They manage two separate herds of SimAngus cattle and also raise corn, wheat and soybeans as cash crops. For feed, they raise corn silage, alfalfa, millet and oats for hay.
