The cool and wet weather caused some emergence challenges. “Some of the corn went into wet ground and the warm weather really crusted over soils, but, things have really improved lately.” Pioneer field agronomist Jessie Moch says field conditions have been variable across his territory. “There are challenges with early stands in the corn, but we’re fighting through some of that.” Watch the Facebook video here.
