The Environmental Protection Agency will ask for comments on whether it should continue to allow states to restrict pesticide use based on local conditions. This is something that has been done in the last two years to prevent off target crops and other plants from dicamba drift. The EPA says they’re looking forward to a robust public dialogue on the matter. It’s unknown when the EPA will announce the formal public comment period.
