U.S. ethanol production increased during the week ending October 30, according to the Energy Information Administration. Nationwide output averaged 1.143 million barrels per day, with Midwest plants accounting for 1.09 million barrels. Meanwhile, national ethanol inventories slipped from 24.5 million barrels to 24.4 million barrels. Midwest stocks also declined to approximately 9.7 million barrels.
