For the third quarter, Syngenta Group recorded sales of $5.2 billion, down ten percent from the same period one year ago. EBITDA for the quarter was $800 million, down two percent year over year. In the first three quarters of the business year, Syngenta Crop Protection sales were flat with double-digit growth in the third quarter for biologicals. Syngenta Seeds sales were also flat in the first nine months of the fiscal year. North American field crop sales were down 11 percent due to a restructuring, which is now largely complete.
