Kendra Wibe of the Rolla, North Dakota FFA Chapter put her job interview skills to the test at the National FFA Convention. Wiebe competed in the Employment Skills Leadership Development Event, which takes students through the job application and interview process. “Employment Skills is really an LDE that’s made to get people to learn the whole interview process,” Wibe said. “You have to create your own resume, a cover letter, a follow-up letter, and then you have to do an interview. There are definitely a lot of real-life situations involved in this.” Wiebe said the competition helped build her confidence.
