South Dakota FFA Secretary Ellie Storm served as a national delegate at the FFA Convention, working on ways to improve the organization. For Storm, the convention illustrates the sense of community within FFA. “It truly is just one whole group of people that are working towards the same thing,” Storm said. “It is unbelievable to come here in committees and be able to see all these people genuinely want to better agriculture. They genuinely want to better leaders.” Storm encourages members to take full advantage of the convention experience. “Just fully embrace it. It is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.”
