In an online collaboration between AgBull Media and the Red River Farm Network, AgBull Trading President Tommy Grisafi voiced optimism about the cash grain trade. “We do have the ability in the north to store a lot of bushels,” said Grisafi. “This crop is going to get packed away. The rallies in the spring due to the energies, the rally in the summer, this rally in the late fall, all helped get a lot of bushels priced. And once this crop’s bagged up and put away, I think you’re going to see a heck of a cash market.” Ten year treasury yields fell ten basis points Thursday, the biggest one day decline in more than a year. There was a modest rebound Friday, but levels are still down on the week. “When I say interest rates collapsed, they were at 24-year highs.” Watch the conversation between Grisafi and RRFN’s Don Wick.
