USDA says farmers will receive a record $13.8 billion in ARC and PLC payments for the 2025 crop year. That’s the largest payout since the programs began in 2014. Sixteen crops qualify for PLC payments, including corn, soybeans, wheat and canola. Eligible farmers will automatically receive whichever program pays more. USDA says enrollment for the 2026 ARC and PLC programs is now open at local Farm Service Agency offices.
