Recent rains put harvest on hold in parts of western North Dakota. Bailey Reiser with Renzloff Seed and Supply at Hazen said farmers are using the downtime to catch up on cattle and hay work. While the moisture is welcome, it arrived too late to provide much benefit to corn and soybeans after a dry summer. “We wish we would have had it, you know, a month and a half ago.” Soybean harvest has started, while corn harvest has yet to get underway.
