Another round of heavy rain has put harvest back on hold near Park River, North Dakota. “As soon as we got going on our soybeans, we’ve gotten close to two inches of rain, so we’re going to be delayed on that for a while yet until the ground dries out,” said Joe Miller. Some area farmers have moved into corn, but Miller is hearing moisture levels ranging from 25 to 28 percent. Sunflowers also need additional drying. The biggest concern is how long the wet pattern continues.
