Dry bean harvest is underway near East Grand Forks, but recent rains and slow dry-down are limiting progress. “Yields have been coming in better than we thought, which is nice, all things considering,” reports Matt Krueger. Corn harvest will follow, and Kruger expects significant yield variability. Fields farther north that caught timely rains look good, while conditions deteriorate quickly farther south. “It’s gonna be highly variable. I mean, yield maps I think are gonna be super interesting.”
