On Friday, USDA cut the national average U.S. corn yield by 2.2 bushels per acre to 178.5 bushels per acre. Ag Bull Trading President Tommy Grisafi calls it an aggressive move. “The bean number on the other side, they raised yield just a tiny bit and it was a tiny bit bearish.” USDA made no changes to the US wheat balance sheet. However, world ending stocks increased due to a cut in Russian and Ukrainian wheat exports. Grisafi will join Allison Thompson from the Money Farm and Northland Farm Business Management Instructor Betsy Jensen for the Market Outlook Forum Tuesday at the Big Iron Farm Show.
