Sarah Hall-Ganje with GK Technology says the moisture is improving field conditions ahead of fall tillage. “I pulled some soil cores last weekend and I was actually able to get two-foot cores when I was soil sampling,” Hall-Ganje said. “I was a little worried it was going to be dry and getting full cores was going to be a challenge, but I was able to do it.” More moisture is still needed, but harvest activity is moving while dry conditions have already affected the corn.
