Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar is criticizing the Trump administration’s latest tariffs on Canada, saying they could raise costs for farmers, businesses and consumers. Klobuchar says Canada remains a key market for Minnesota and is backing legislation to revoke the latest tariffs. She is also a cosponsor of the bipartisan Trade Review Act with Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley and Washington Senator Maria Cantwell. The legislation would require congressional approval for new tariffs within sixty days or they would expire.
